More Than The Score is a series of stories describing life lessons a young man was taught, by his Father, through sports. Whether it be as a young child playing a friendly game of marbles or as a young man playing his first year of Division One college football the young man’s Father took every opportunity to teach his son valuable lessons that he hoped would help shape his life as an adult. read more

Lesson #1: What Comes Around Goes Around 
Recess in third grade meant one thing and one thing only – marbles!! There were kid-made marble holes all over the playground. It got to be so big that playing marbles only at recess just wasn’t enough. Soon each house in the neighborhood had these same marble holes and we’d play from dinner time until the streetlights came on.
